Old Delhi, or known as Shahjahanabad in its heydays keeps the Mughal stories alive in the conscience of this city. When Shahajahan shifted the power centre from Agra to Delhi in the 17th. century the empire was in its zenith.
On Sunday, we shall explore the heart of it -- The bazaars; the haveli; kuchas & religious shrines as we walk through the bylanes of a time that once saw a moonlit bazaar bustling with culture and how it descended into the twillight after the trial and exile of Bahadur Shah Zafar post 1857 & the tribulations tbereafter.
