Events and incidents seamlessly travel through space and time. Every passerby has a story to tell, which get transferred to the next passerby, making these stories timeless. This is what keeps us going as people, as communities, and as civilizations.
At times when the sheer act of telling stories is being jeopardized by social-alienation and modern work culture, Anjuman is bringing the best of stories just for you. We will come together on 23rd June, 7 pm, at Lahe Lahe to celebrate some of the best stories written in the Hindi language.
At the first installment of Qissa Corner, you will get to listen to the stories of Harishankar Parsai (1924-1995), the well-known satirist and political columnist. Through dramatic and engaging readings of these stories, we hope a part of Parsai will continue to live with you for times to come.
Please take note :
1. The event will be focused on storytelling, followed by a discussion of these stories.
2. Requesting audience members to reach the venue on time.
3. If you want to share your stories for future readings, please share them with the Anjuman team.
