Building on an understanding of our energy pathways, this workshop provides teaching and practices that allow our emotions to flow more freely and awakens our creativity. The workshop approach is based on a deep and holistic understanding of how energy works and provides practical, science-based approaches to release and balance our emotional and creative energy through movement, awareness, food, breath, and sound.

Inclusions:

  • Teaching on the principles of the Sacral Chakra.
  • Yoga postures, breathing techniques, and dynamic meditation.
  • Light refreshments.
  • Take-Away Practices for connecting to your creative flow.

Participant Preparation:

  • Participants should not eat 90 minutes prior to the session.
  • Wear loose comfortable clothing.
  • Bring own yoga matt.
  • Participants should plan for a restful evening without alcohol following the session.

About Facilitator:

Rahi Santhanam: Rahi Santhanam is a Yoga Therapist and Psychologist based in Bangalore. She began her yoga journey at 16 at the Vivekananda Kendra in Kanyakumari. Later, while undertaking a Masters in Psychology, she studied under the renowned yoga teacher Sri TKV Desikachar of the Krishnamacharya lineage. Her passion for yoga and psychology led her to conduct her MPhil in the application of yoga as a therapeutic intervention for ailments of both body and mind. Rahi has taught extensively both in India and around the world, conducting workshops for corporates, institutions, and penitentiaries. She is actively involved in sharing and spreading the wisdom of yoga and Indian culture through her educational talks, workshops, and teacher training programs. Rahi beautifully integrates the rigor of Western science into her deep understanding of how yoga impacts both the body and mind.
