We are thrilled to announce the theme for the 2023 edition of the Delhi Poetry Festival -‘Poets with Purpose’.

This unique endeavour is designed to promote and circulate poetry that invokes a profound sense of action, courage, and selflessness.

The Delhi Poetry Festival is back for its 11th year, and we’re more excited than ever to celebrate the power of poetry! Building on the success of last year’s “Poets with Purpose” theme, we’re ready to ignite the poetic flame once again.

This year, our theme is “The Hero Within Us.” We believe that everyday heroism is within reach, inspiring us to stand up for what’s right, take risks for others, and create positive change.

Expect more than just poetry readings! The festival will be a vibrant experience with:

Meaningful dialogues that delve into the impact of poetry on society.
Captivating performances that will stir your soul, including Sufi music, poetry fusions, and performance poetry.
Book launches by renowned authors.

SheScapes - Feelings Unboxed

A unique women-centric platform for creative urban women that promises to address the issues of women. This is not about empowerment but evolution and enlightenment. The platform thrives on the ethos of She for She- the ultimate sisterhood. Where women uplift each other at home, at workplaces and in society in general. Creative women- the poets, writers, singers, musicians, sculptors, painters, actors, weavers etc and businesswomen who run start-ups or family businesses can own this space and call it theirs.

Although SheScapes was introduced to the audience in 2019, the first formal event with the new logo took place on 17th March, 2024.
Our vision is to make a tribe of strong, empowered, creative women who can inspire, and support their sisters.


Junior

Delhi Poetry Festival, India’s premier standalone Poetry Festival has been celebrating children’s creativity since its inception. As we complete 10 glorious years of celebrating poetry, art and literature in the heart of India, we have decided to give children their own standalone festival right here in the heart of India. Children are the custodians of India’s cultural and literary legacy. It is therefore, imperative that we make every effort to provide them with opportunities to fulfil their literary pursuits, and take the legacy forward for future generations. Delhi Poetry Festival Junior is a cohesive space for kids that not only teaches but also celebrates creativity.

Besides Poetry, the festival includes many other activities that keep children engaged in creativity and Knowledge. Some of the activities are – Story-Telling, Doodle and Poetry, Puppet Show, Poetry -drama, Fun with Canvas, Journaling and more.
