This Sunday we are delighted to announce the presence of Bela Rice House, from Jaipur, at our market. See picture 👇🏽 They specialize in native rice varieties and will have single-polish rice varieties, rice poha & rice khichiya (traditional papad) for sale 🌾

Bela Rice House promoter, Gourav Bhura, says that our desh Bharat used to cultivate 1,10,000 native rice varieties until 1970. Today less than 6,000 varieties survive due to focus on high-yield hybrid or research rice. He offers varieties rich in taste, aroma & nutrition 👍🏽

He will be serving free tasters of Dahi Katarni Chura (Poha) for breakfast. Don’t miss this chance to meet Gourav together with your children.
