Hi,

I'm a potential student (female) in Delhi (and have been a full-time journalist in the past). I'm looking for a good accommodation on rent/lease, while I complete my MA degree from Delhi, which should be comfortable, reasonable, and well-located. Please let me know if there's something good that anyone has in mind, and email me at exist_ent@yahoo.co.in if you do know of a good deal. My requirements include the following:

-Should be close to any metro station on the yellow line. Areas preferred include Saket, Green Park, Panchsheel Park/Enclave, Shahpur Jat, Hauz Khas, Safdurjung Enclave, Malviya Nagar, Jor Baug, Civil Lines. The place should not be more than a 10 minute walk from the metro station.

-Should have excellent cross ventilation and should be surrounded by greenery. I'm asthmatic so this is really important.

-Should be a mid-level floor. No top floor / barsaati. Ground floor might be considered in special cases given adequate safety, locality, and good windows and outlets. The apartment should face a proper road. No fancy view needed, but just a decent road outside the window -- that is not shady or dingy or unpleasant.

-Should have an independent entrance; not too many restrictions on time and movement.

-Should have an attached bathroom with good flooring and the bathroom should be large and clean.

-Should have a proper, well constructed, comfortable kitchen which is not stuffy or messy.

-Furnishing should include AC and geyser AT LEAST. Any other appliances (ie refrigerator, washing machine, Wi Fi, stove, cylinder) are welcome but not compulsory. Sofas, chairs, beds, and tables are avoidable, as I'd prefer doing up the place myself, but will not mind if the ones brought in are good and clean. AC and geyser, however, are absolutely mandatory.

-Good, cooperative landlords who are basically nice people.

The budget limit is Rs 10,000 per month + electricity charges as per meter.

I am open to sharing a 2BHK or a 3 BHK with 2 or 3 people if it seems conducive. So if you are looking for a flatmate in a house that includes all of the above, then let me know. At the moment, I am still searching for a single space.
