Due to the focus on healthy foods, whole wheat baking has gained prominence. Whole wheat breads retain essential nutrients, and are an essential source of dietary fibre.

In this class, we give you great tips and awesome techniques that make baking whole wheat breads a breeze.

No prior experience in baking is needed, and we start from the basics. Students will learn how to use yeast, and how to proof bread dough. Gluten development will be explored in depth, and students will learn to slow proof bread dough for optimal results.

All ingredients and elaborate recipes will be prepared by us.

Class will cover the following:

Whole wheat bread loaf

Whole wheat dinner rolls

Whole wheat bread sticks

Students will be provided with 150 gms of instant yeast and 150 gms of whole wheat gluten which they can take home and use for their bakes.
