Light painting is a photographic technique where you set a camera to a long exposure and use lights to draw pictures or words in the air. Its a bit like the effect you get when you draw in the air with a sparkler!
This workshop enables the participants to learn how to use a DSLR camera to create a light painting. They will have the chance to experiment with different lights to see the effects that they create and then, working in groups, design their own light paintings.
What you need to bring : DSLR cameras with Wide angle lens or Kit lens (18mm-55mm ) & tripods
who can attend : This workshop suits ages 10+, any passionate photographer, artist who wisht to learn new techniques of light painting.
is DSLR mandatory ?
No, DSLR has more controls, if you dont have DSLR you can use any advance smartphone with apps to capture the lightpainting.
is Tripod mandatory ?
Yes, since this is long exposure photography, tripod or any stable stand is mandatory.

All participants need to make their own travel arrangements.
All members can carry their own Digital Camera & Tripod if they have.
Please note: This Workshop is not designed to train you on the basics of camera usage and photography. All participants should know how to use DSLR in manual mode. Please sign up for our Basic Photography Workshop 2.0 if you are not familiar with photography fundamentals.

There is no admission to the event without a ticket.
Workshop fee is Non Refundable
