The AWA, originally founded as the American Women’s Club and known today as the American Welcome Association, has been serving Americans living in and around New Delhi since 1947.
Membership is open to all U.S. citizens (and their spouses) and entitles them to participate in all services and activities sponsored by the AWA. We encourage and enable members to serve others and volunteer to enrich our experiences and the lives of others in incredible India.

Facilitate social and cultural activities among Americans living in and around New Delhi.
Provide educational and philanthropic programs such as the AWA Library and Thrift Shop.
Generate funds and volunteers to support our organization and its philanthropic projects.
