This session can be either perceived as a history of jewellery class or a valuable audiovisual briefing prior to a possible forthcoming visit to Portugal, helping you selecting what to visit according to your interests.

In Portugal, has developed extensive gem testing work in national and private museums as well as with the Church and has been involved on research on the history of the use of gems, specially in Portuguese jewellery of the 18-19th centuries period.
