Nehru Rose Garden situated in Ludhiana city was established in 1967. This is one of the largest rose gardens in Asia, spreads over an area of 30 acres, which planted more than 17,000 plants with 1,600 varieties of roses.

Rose garden is one of the open spaces left for jogging, picnics, evening and morning walks and to relax for some time in the open.

The Rose garden includes many tourist attractions. There is one planetarium, in which educational and entertaining shows about astronomy and the night sky are shown.

There are musical fountain shows, in which the fountains and the lightning system in the fountain dance according to the music and song.

This garden organises the Rose festival every year. This is one of the main cultural events of the city and it draws thousands of visitors from various parts of the country.
