Amar Srividya teaches Primary Series and Intermediate Series of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga. Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga is a physically demanding practice that uses Ujjayi Pranayama (Ocean breathing) with Asanas and Vinyasa Flow. When Ujjayi breathing is combined with Vinyasa Flow, heat is generated in the body leading to purification through increased blood circulation. With regular practice, a student can improve his or her health, flexibility and reduce the risk of injury.
“Mysore Style” class is a self paced class, where students practice the Ashtanga Vinyasa Flow at their own pace while the expert supervisor makes necessary adjustments to alignment and posture. We will have instructor led classes once in a week for students to understand and learn the flow.
