Have you often wondered: What I am good at is different from who I am and what has my heart and has meaning for me?
We all have dreams and ambitions, we also have personality type, interest areas and skills and abilities. We focus on developing our abilities all our life, without knowing what limits us. When you use the MBTI instrument, you recognize your personality type which helps you in designing a self-development strategy for yourself.
MBTI also helps you understand that the chance variation in human behaviour in fact is not due to chance; it is the logical result of a few basic, observable preferences. Quite often we tend to assume that other peoples minds work on the same principles as our own. However, very often we find that people we interact with do not reason as we reason, do not value the things we value, or are not interested in what interests us.
In this workshop, participants will learn the fundamentals of the MBTI instrument, and the Jungs theory of Personality Type, which is the foundation of the instrument. On understanding the four preference pairs, the participants will be able to do a self-evaluation of their personality type, post which they all will also get to understand how different personalities behave in real life scenarios by participating in a couple of activities. By the end of the workshop, the instrument will empower the participants with various ways in which personality types can be used in their personal as well as professional sphere, and an understanding of how they can take this journey of self-exploration forward.
