Naresha: Naresha’s introduction to theatre dates back to his early schooling days where he had the opportunity and interest to be part of his school’s theatre programmes. These experiences further matured between 1992 & 1994 where he and his team ‘Samudaya’ were declared National Awardees and toured through India presenting their productions. Having worked quietly and sincerely individually and with groups he has been associated with the likes of Walter D’Souza (Mime Artist, NSD) B.Ramamurthy (Light Designing) , Suresh Anagalli ( Set Design , NSD) , Basavalingiah (Former Rangayana Director , Present NSD Director , Bengaluru) , Ekbal Ahmed & Badal Sarkar ( Theatre Directors )
Over the years he developed and horned his skills not just with acting but as theatre artist with script writing, lighting , costume , design, production and direction.
15 years ahead and Naresha was directing serials with well known production houses like Zee TV , ETV & Suvarna TV where local serials ran high Trp’s for more than two years.
His short film based on the life of a little school kid in a village won The Rolling Times award besides being screened by interested organisations internationally.
Over the last few years , he has worked closely with children ( schools, workshops, street, natural disaster survivors , anganwadis, ashrams ) across ages 2 to 16 and has empowered many to not just be an actor but to breathe theatre as a life experiences at a young age.
His work can range from simple to complex giving children larger than life experiences at a very young and age.
Film Making comes as Naturally to Naresha as Theatre does.
