The trek to Harihar Fort is remarkable and enthralling. Harihar, also called Harish Fort, is 6.43 km west of Trimbak and 1,120.44 metres (3,676 feet) above sea-level and lies in the Trimbakeshwar range. The last 200 feet of the hike is a nerve-racking climb through steep rock cut stairs inclined at 80 degrees. The adventure doubles up in the monsoon as the stairs become slippery. To add to the excitement fierce wind blows through the gully making it difficult to balance on the slippery slopes. The descent is particularly exhilarating as you have to climb down and at one point face a sheer 500 ft drop. The architecture of the stairs is so diverse and outstanding and offers spectacular and occasionally scary views of the valley below. The fort is situated amidst the huge Vaitarna dam and the Trimbakeshwar mountain ranges offer stunning views of the area around. The fort is well supplied with water and can be attempted in any season.

(Get into Any compartment Because Train Will be Crowded (Missing the train means missing the trek, So be on time)

01:30 AM: Assembly at Kasara Rail Station
01:45 AM: Travel from Kasra to Nirgudpada by Private Jeep
03:30 AM: Reach base
05:30 AM: Start Trek towards Harihar After Breakfast at Base Village
08:30 AM: Reach top, Explore Harihar fort
10:30 AM: Start descend
01:30 PM: Lunch At Base Village Self Carried
02:30 PM: Travel to Nirgudpada to Kasara by Private Jeep
04:30 PM: Train From Kasara railway station
06:00 PM: Disperse At Dadar Station
Things To Be carried:
A bottle of water (atleast 2 Ltrs) Compulsory
TORCH with extra batteries (compulsory)
Some ready to eat food. Plum cakes, Biscuits etc. (Optional)
Medicine those if u require usually (Optional)
A good trekking shoes,
A haversack to put in all the things to be carried….so that one has ones hands free while trekking.
Pleases do not carry sling bags or Jholas.
Please avoid wearing Gold and other ornaments.
Pack your bags to save them from getting wet.
The cost for the trek is Rs 800/- per head which includes Travelling in jeep from Kasara to base village and back and tea & Breakfast

**Cancelation and Refund applicable on the entire trek cost :
1. If cancelation done prior to 10 days of the trek 75% of the total cost will be refunded.
2. If cancelation done prior to 5 days of the trek 50% will be refunded.
3. If cancelation done after that, no refund will be provided.
SMOKING AND DRINKING STRICTLY PROHIBITED DURING THE TREK (Offenders will be expelled from the program on the spot)
