This 5 bedroom house is located on a one acre plot on the waterfront of Lake Vembanad, Kumarakom. Right next to the 5 star Hotel Kumarakom Lake Resort where Prince Charles celebrated his 65th birthday last November.
Designed by renowned architect Gautam Bhatia who is an authority on Laurie Baker and has written several books on him.
Concept is to bring the outdoors into the indoors.
Beautiful blend of modern and antique with wire-cut brickwork finish and antique doors, windows and pillars from old Kerala homes.

Rs 12000 per day for entire villa ( works out to just Rs 2400 per room per day) upto 30th Sept and Rs 18,000 per day for entire villa ( Rs 3600 per room per day) from 1st October to 28th February.
Cook on call ( speciality Kerala cuisine) - extra payment Rs 850 per day.

Car and driver pick-up from nearest airport Kochi (COK) (Rs 2100 ) 2 hour 15 minute comfortable drive to the property. Car and driver can be engaged during the stay to tour local attractions.
