This World Cancer Day, DLF CYBERHUB has taken an initiative in association with NGO Yes to Life, to spread awareness about detection and treatment of cancer on February 4, 2019.

The event will begin with human chain formation by 80-100 volunteers to showcase the signs and symptoms of cancer through placards. It will be followed by a session on cancer awareness to educate the public.

Post the session, the amphitheater at CYBERHUB will be turned into a ramp, showcasing ‘Fabric of Hope’ collection by Studio One. The spotlight of the fashion show will be ten cancer warriors who will model in designer garments to celebrate their personal victory overdiagnosis and treatment to survivorship. The collection is a colorful display of ensemble and manifestation of joy each survivor wishes to spread around them. Beneath the gorgeous hair, makeup and clothes, there will be a courageous survivor spirit much more beautiful than anything the audience could see from the outside.

The most traumatic side effect of chemotherapy and radiation treatment is hair loss. Therefore, CYBERHUB is organizing hair donation camp to support the cause of wigs donation for the patients undergoing cancer treatment.
