‘140’, an adaptation of Sam Steiner's modern classic ‘Lemons Lemons Lemons Lemons
Lemons’, is a fascinating study of communication in the modern world. Set against the backdrop
of the ‘hush law’, a young couple grapples with the inevitable pitfalls and trials of a relationship,
all the while having to restrict themselves to a mere 140 words a day. Armed with witty humour,

clever insights, and a whole lot of heart, ’140’ asks the question
‘How many words does it take to really know someone?’

quality, enriching entertainment. The company aims to showcase talented artists with a passion;

About the Production
‘140’ is LBS’s brand new production, building on the success of ‘Inc. Stinct’ which had
successful runs in both Delhi and Mumbai, playing to packed auditoriums and receiving much
critical acclaim as well. The company, through this production, looks to cement its position as
one of the top new theatre companies in the city. The production will premiere with a week of
previews, where it will play to limited audiences by invitation, beyond which we look to move to
bigger venues and play to large audiences.
