Darkness is the cosmic womb from which everything arises and into which everything falls. When the sun rises, there is light, when the sun sets, there is darkness. Light comes and goes but Darkness is always there; it is without source- eternal and infinite.

In every day to day life, 75 percent of our energy flows through our eyes. In the darkness, this energy becomes available to us to experience the beyond.

This meditation is used by many spiritual schools such as Tantra, Osho, Sufism and Taoism to name a few.
