Travel back in time to the 18th century with Le Scribe to rediscover Copperplate Calligraphy.
In the early days, a scribe’s writing was transferred by an engraver,using a pointed tool called a Bruin, on to a plate made of copper. It’s distinct thick downstrokes and thin downstrokes has now taken a contemporary twist into what’s termed “ modern calligraphy”.
In this special workshop, you will be introduced to this beautiful art form which will give you an excellent foundation and confidence for doing modern calligraphy.
We will guide and help you practice lower and upper cases through multiple letter writings and create handwritten words with breathtaking beauty.
