About the Featured Poet: Cipun Mishra

"He has toured several cities in Odisha to perform and teach Spoken Word Poetry in tier-2 and tier-3 cities, and is responsible for the creation and mentoring of Sojourn, the literary club of Sambalpur-Burla, and Cuttack Poetry Society. He co-founded the Bhubaneswar Poetry Club, which was the first of its kind in Odisha. He along with Oliva Das started the first Spoken Word Poetry Competition in Odisha, Open Sesame, 4 years ago. He has been featured by 100 Thousand Poets for Change, Under25, Greenpeace, Upwrite, YourQuote, Mouth of Word, Povera, InkWeaver, Talk Happy Therapy, FreeTheVerse, and A Writer's Haven to name a few. He is a regular performer in the Bangalore poetry scene and delivers workshops in various universities."
