Walk into the Urban Ladder store on the 9th of June, for an engaging workshop on abstract floral art. For most of us, our first exploration of creativity started with the four-petaled doodles of our childhood. Remember the all-consuming attention you gave to colouring inside the lines (or outside)? Or the joy of choosing colours without constraint, without caring that sunflowers were yellow and the sky blue? Come over to our abstract art workshop and relive those childhood thrills, adult-style.

At this workshop, you will create gorgeous floral artwork using pour art, palette knives, and air-blowing. First, an artist from Bloom&Grow will lead you through a demonstration. Then, you will paint on your own 8"x 8" canvas, guided by your facilitator. Everything you need will be provided at the workshop - just bring along an enthu-cutlet attitude! At the end of two hours, you get to take home a beautiful piece of floral art that is entirely your own. Hang it up, admire it, and tell your friends all about it. Don’t forget to sign it with a flourish first! :)
