At the High Commission, our mandate is to promote Trinidad and Tobago in the countries to which it is accredited namely India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Indonesia and Japan.

Towards this end the High Commission’s objectives are to increase trade, investment and tourism, to deepen cultural linkages and foster greater people to people contact between Trinidad and Tobago and India and other countries of accreditation.

Trinidad and Tobago has long standing relations with all six of the countries to which the High Commission is accredited to and it continues to strengthen relations with these countries across all facets of society whether is be trade, investment, tourism, education, sport or culture.
