Mcleodganj, nestled in Dhauladhar range of Himalayas, located 14 kms from Dharamshala and is the residing place of His Holiness Dalai Lama.
Over the years McleodGanj has gained a lot of popularity and is famous for Tibetan Culture, several treks that start from here, cafes which are a great hang out places and also because of its closeness to Chandigarh, Punjab, and Delhi.
Day 0: Meetup and Leave for McleodGanj
Assemble at Akshardham metro station by 8:30 PM. After introduction of the group members, we start our journey for McleodGanj
Day 1:
McleodGanj Arrival and Campstay
McleodGanj is about 480 kms from New Delhi and takes about 12 hrs of travel time to reach. We will reach McleodGanj by 9 in the morning.
Camp allocation and general briefing on the campsite. After breakfast at the campsite, we leave for adventure activities like Rock climbing and rappelling at the campsite.
Lunch at the campsite. After lunch you have your leisure time where in you can roam around the campsite or explore McleodGanj, Cafes, exploring the beauty of this Himalayan town.
Evening tea followed by bonfire and dinner.
Day 2:
Wake up to a refreshed morning in the mountains of Dhauladhar. Stroll around at the campsite, having tea and cookies.
After breakfast, we check out of the camp. Visit the local attractions of McleodGanj Bhagsunag Waterfall, monastery. Guests are free to explore Mcleodganj on their own for the remaining time. We leave by 5 in the evening from Mcleodganj and retrace the same route via Chandigarh to New Delhi.
Reach Delhi by 6 in the morning next day.
