Workshop Name: Game Development  with Scratch 2.0:

(For ages 7-16 years) In this course, kids get to understand the basics of coding while creating their own animations, games & stories. It is easy to learn and fun to create using easy to understand logic blocks.

 This workshop very much fits with the NextGen gaming program and goals. Coding, or computer programming, is a creative process performed by programmers to tell a computer how to do a task. Coding involves writing computer programs using programming languages. Coding for kids is usually taught using content that is high-interest while creating projects that involve creative input.

 Scratch is a programming languages developed by MIT and the workshop has some decent exercises that introduce visual block languages and coding in its modules. Scratch 2.0 is a preferred tool for schools for teaching STEM and coding. 

This workshop would be useful to students at all levels of skills 

 Workshop Contents : Students will participate in a series of exercises, including the following:

•  Animating the game character
•  Creating an environment for their game character
•  Scripting of the game character and the various objects in the Game
•  Creating a Finite State Machine
•  Code Optimization

Skill Level: Beginner – Advanced

Timing 10 am to 12 am every Saturday and sunday

 We offer Year Long programs, which has several modules: Each module can be done independently as well. In every course, students get hands-on development experience, working in teams to apply their training and building apps that expand their skills.

•  Game Development :(For ages 7-16 years) In this course, kids get to understand the basics of coding while creating their own animations, games & stories. It is easy to learn and fun to create using easy to understand logic blocks.
• Website Development:(for ages 10-16 years) Our Web Development course will give kids an in-depth knowledge about how to design, develop & maintain websites & also about different aspects of web designing including typography, color theory, layout, composition, imagery.
• Android App Development :(10-16 years)While making their own app kids don't have to worry about long codes. We use block-based language which transforms the complex coding into visually based blocks.
• 3D Printing: In this course, kids learn designing for 3D prints and also  with a special focus on pre-press, post-press, and sketching classes
• Graphic Designing: Classes towards specializations for individual applications such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign
• Python 101: Next level programming with Core Python and also with Data Analysis and with Django module

 We also provide classes for students(of the 11th&12th standard) with all the computer syllabus of CBSE(C++,JAVA, RD).
