About the Madhugiri: Madhugiri, otherwise called Maddagiri is a small town in the Tumkur district, Karnataka which is around 100 km from Bangalore. The town derives its name from a hillock, Madhu-giri (honey-hill) which is to the north of the place. Madhugiri has been declared as Educational District by Karnataka state education department. At 3,930 ft. (1,200 m) elevation, Madhugiri is a solitary hill, second largest monolith in Asia after Savandurga of Magadi district. Nestled on its steep slopes is a fort that is dedicated to Hyder Ali. Antaralada Bagilu, Diddibagilu, and Mysuru Gate are the three gateways of the fort. A series of doorways leading to the hill. On the top is the ruined Gopalakrishna temple. The trail is moderate, the steep slopes bring in a sense of difficulty and excitement to the experience. The peak offers some amazing scenery of the forest surrounding the hill.

09:00 PM Pick up starts from Marathahalli followed by Silk Board, BTM & Banashankari, RR Nagar.
Day 1:
- 01:30 AM Reach Madhugiri base and briefing.
- 02:00 AM Start Trek.
- 03:30 AM Reach peak and relax by the bonfire.
- 06:30 AM Descend.
- 07:30 AM Reach base.
- 09:00 AM Have breakfast on the way back.
- 11:00 AM Reach Bangalore.
