Mt Everest does not need any introduction, the highest peak in the world is not only the most sort after mountain to climb; even the Trek to Base Camp is equally popular. It is referred as
‘Mother of all Treks” The sheer presence of the world’s highest peak makes the trek more interesting. Trekking parallel to the gushing Dudh Koshi River and later the Kumbha glacier is an
experience any adventure seeking person would not like to miss. The Best view of Mt Everest is from Kala Patthar that is located close to Gorakshep.
Route: Lukla – Monjo – Namche Bazar – Deboche – Dingboche – Lobuche – Gorakshep – Everest Base Camp (EBC) – Gorakshep – Kala Pattar – Lobuche – Pheriche – Namche Bazar – Lukla

Itinerary:
Day 01: Kathmandu
Arrive in Kathmandu. Transfer to the hotel. Detailed briefing about the trek in the evening, O/N at Hotel
Day 02: Lukla(2840m) - Begin Trek – Monjo(2940m)
Half an hour morning flight to Lukla,one of the highest airports in the world. Start our trek to north up the Dudh Kosi valley to Monjo.
Where it officially enters Sagarmatha (Everest) National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. O/N at guest house
Day 03 & 04: Namche Bazar, Elevation: 3440m, Hiking Time: 5-6 hours
Trekking along the banks of the Dudh Kosi, crossing this majestic river many times on exciting suspension bridges laden with prayer flags brings us to the Namche Bazar, the Sherpa Capital town. O/N
at hotel. Acclimatization day at Namche Bazar. Catch a first glimpse of Everest during a steep climb to Shangbouche.
Day 05: Debuche, Elevation: 4530 m, Hiking Time: 5-6 hours
Trek to Debuche. On the way we’ll be visiting Rongbuk, the highest monastery in the world. O/N at guest house.
Day 06 & 07: Dingbouche, Elevation: 4410m, Hiking Time: 6 hours
Trek to Dingbouche. Here we will see beautiful array of fields enclosed by stone walls to protect barley, buckwheat and potatoes from the cold winds and grazing animals. O/N at guest house. We
will be trekking to Chukung and back on our second acclimatization day. O/N at guest house
Day 08: Lobuche, Elevation: 4910m, Hiking Time: 4 hrs
Today’s trail continues along the lateral moraine of the Khumbu Glacier and passes by stone memorials for climbers who have perished on nearby summits. O/N at guest house
Day 09: Gorakhshep – Mt. Everest Base Camp – Gorakhshep,
Elevation: 5153m, Hiking Time: 2-3 hrs
The trail to Gorak Shep goes ahead through the lateral moraine of the Khumbu Glacier. In the early afternoon we trek to the Mt Everest base camp (17,575 ft).We take the trail to Everest Base
Camp through the once vast Gorak Shep Lake. Continuing straight ahead, we come through the Indian army mountaineers' memorials. O/N stay at Gorakhshep
Day 10: Gorakhshep – Kala Patthar(5545m) – Gorakhshep – Pheriche
We start early in the morning around 3 AM to catch the dramatic views from Kala Patthar witnessing the first light of day shining on Mt. Everest. We come back to Gorakhshep and head down the
glacier, reenter the lush and beautiful valleys, surrounded by spectacular snow-capped peaks. O/N at Periche.
Day 11: Namche
Hike down a steep trail to the Dudh Kosi and climb to Namche Bazar. O /N at guest house.
Day 12: Lukla
The final day of our descent, we’ll have a long and leisurely trek back to Lukla. O/N at guest house
Day 13: Kathmandu,
Weather permitting, we’ll fly back to Kathmandu today and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. O/N at Hotel.
Day 14: Transfer to airport for departure flight to Delhi
