“An Expressive Art therapy workshop ”
Expressive art uses various means like music, visual art, dance-movement, poetry, drama, expressive writing, etc for self-exploration. Art therapy does not focus on the artistic abilities; rather it works as the means of communication within the
person as well as between people.
The current workshop of Expressive Arts with travellers will help the participants to bring their travelling experiences into consciousness and to relive the moments of peace, happiness and satisfaction. It will also help them to identify their real and ideal self through self-exploratory activities.
Art therapy will help in bridging the gap between the conscious and the unconscious as well as enhancing emotional, spiritual, cognitive as well as physical well-being. This workshop will help in the journey towards self-discovery and acceptance.
