The Twin-cities Expatriates Association (TEA) an "International Club of Hyderabad" was formed in 2003 to provide a contact point, support network, information service, and an opportunity for expatriates and their families living in the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad to meet and get to know each other socially.

We are a nonprofit, registered Association run by a volunteer committee drawn from our members.

The association facilitates communication between long term and newly arrived expatriates, helping newcomers identify the services and information (e.g. medical services, shopping, education, recreation) needed upon arrival in a new city and country. With the help of our members, and the collective experiences and recommendations, we have compiled a directory of services, which is available to members of TEA. Through TEA, members are also introduced to the many cultural and social opportunities available in Hyderabad. As a member, you should be able to settle in more quickly and feel less isolated as you adjust to your new surroundings.

Membership is open to individuals with foreign passports, their partners and children - regardless of nationality.  Indian passport holders who wish to join may apply for membership if they have international experience; identify with the goals of the association; and, are recommended by a current member.  TEA's  Executive Committee approves all applications for membership.

Socially, we have a weekly get together at News Cafe, Inorbit Mall Madhapur Hytech city, and regularly organize events based around traditional, local and international celebrations.  If you are planning a move to the Hyderabad area in the near future, whether for a short or long term visit, you may care to read the newcomers section or to for more information about relocation, living in India or general information about Hyderabad.

TEA is still running! We meet on Fridays... in Whisper Valley. There are weekly lunch meetings at well at various cafes. Contact info@tea.org for more details

Twin-cities Expatriates Association (TEA) of Hyderabad and Secunderabad based in Hyderabad provides a smooth changeover to the growing number of expats.
