What will you learn:
Light is a critical component of any art and its understanding is necessary to give 3dimensions and character to any object on paper. Glass marking pencil on pastel sheet is an interesting medium to understand light and create stunning results.
- Understand tones, the direction of light, highlights (both spectacular and diffused) and shadows.
- Using light to define the texture, shape, etc of the object.
- Get acquainted with the medium and paper used.
- Experiment and create a work of your choice: Birds/ wildlife/ nature/ human portraits
