Unique to Dubai, table 9 by Nick and Scott is something as unusual as a completely home grown restaurant not affiliated with any chain or franchise.
Taking a step away from formal fine dining, the award winning chefs have created a seasonal fluid menu made up of aptly named “smaller” and “larger” plates giving guests the freedom to create their own bespoke dining experience. Guests are equally welcome to indulge in a multi-course tasting menu or simply enjoy a couple of small dishes with a glass of wine on any night of the week.
The knowledgeable team headed up by charismatic restaurant manager Viktorija is on hand to offer Nick and Scott’s suggestions on the perfect blend of dishes, often combined with a superb selection of wines by the glass, there are more than 25 to choose from!
From the bread and butter, to the veal pastrami and the dainty pick ‘n’ mix candies served at the end of the meal, everything is made in-house. Seasonal menu favourites include hen’s egg, pancetta, maple syrup; seabass, cockles, salt & vinegar, butter milk; and chocolate, hazelnut, caramel.
The intimate, light restaurant is enhanced by a special range of handmade pottery and ceramics by UAE based potter/ceramic designer Homa Vafaie-Farley, and regularly changing artwork from local gallery Mojo on the walls.
