The Polish Institute is a part of the Polish diplomatic mission in India with the aim of promoting and fostering an understanding of Poland’s culture.

The mission of Polish Institutes is to cooperate in the field of public and cultural diplomacy. Polish Institutes cultivate bilateral cultural exchange and ensure the presence of Polish cultural events in the host country's public sphere. Institutes also dedicate attention to the Polish language by providing support for academic staff and students of Polish, Slavonic, Central European studies, and Polish philology departments.
