Isn't that the date that the LPG Bottle life expires?

I believe the date is printed onto bottle.

Do you know that there is an expiry date (physical life) for LPG cylinders? Expired Cylinders are not safe for use and may cause accidents. In this regard, please be cautious at the time of accepting any LPG cylinder from the vendor.

Here is how we can check the expiry of LPG cylinders:
On the inside of one of three side stems of the cylinder, the expiry date is coded alpha numerically as follows A or B or C or D and some two digit number following this e.g. D06.
 The letters stand for quarters -
 1. A for March (First Qtr),
2. B for June (Second Qtr),
3. C for Sept (Third Qtr),
4. D for December (Fourth Qtr).
 The digits stand for the year till it is valid. Hence D06 would mean December qtr of 2006.
 
Please Return Back the Cylinder that you get with a Expiry Date, they are prone to Leak and other Hazardous accidents ...

In Navi Mumbai, you have the Ryan International school which has attained a good reputation in a short period of time.  Should be close enough if you are living in Nerul, CBD or even Khar Ghar.   We checked it out for our twins, but had to move out of Mumbai before we could make a decision.

ok - what I meant to say was - that maybe you ought to ask your local store - maybe they could ( like in Mumbai) get the things you need - given the time and right price.....

My friend's son had a group of friens come into India this summer , and they went ot goa for about 3 weeks - found great accomodation and food.

Will ask them where they lived for that time.

We got to know about this lovely lady who makes home-visits - and takes care of most requirements - andlike S.Expat said, ask around in your area - speak to the ladies who have lived there for a bit - they would all ( almost definitely) be getting their treatments done somewhere!

Talking of Fabulous maids- we have two of them. Wonderful ladies , one who has been with us since we got here ( Baroda outskirts) about 2 years ago, and the other lady who joined us when our daughter was born last year.

Ok - so it might be too late for this - but there are many fancy dress rental companies in bangalore - and som eof them will evenmake things up for your size ( which then becomes a purchase and not a rental).

Most local DTP studios will offer you this service. If you have  a certain design in mind, you could take that along with you on a cd/usb. As for printing the stckers and stationary - again, almost all printers can do this kind of work.

as far as furniture is concerned, you can get anything custom made here. Some of the world's finest handcrafted furniture is made in India.

You could also buy "off - the - shelf" - the variety is endless.

Finally - you could even rent furniture for the entire house.  Some companies even offer a hire-purchase scheme , sort of like buying in installments.

You may be better off renting.  The residential rental yield in Mumbai is 3 -5%, while the interest on mortgage is approx. 9 -10%.  You it costs much less to rent.  Specially if you are here temporarily.

Paintball! Dunno about Ahmedabad - found this great place outside mumbai - paintball, rockclimbing and some sort of military training/obstacle course thing - very fun.

Does anyone know of any instructors/ classes/studios that teach dailey method classes anywhere in Mumbai? Someplace nice and professional... I tried a couple of classes in Bandra - but they were more "fluff" than anything else!
